About the Coffee

This coffee is the result of collaboration with other female farmers from Nicaragua, specifically with six women from the COASSAN cooperative in the Jinotega region. It's part of our Women's project, one of our international projects in Nicaragua, aimed at providing better trading opportunities for female farmers in the global coffee market, where they might otherwise struggle to compete. Thanks to our previous experiences working with women from the Aranjuez Women’s Project and Coomcafe Women’s Project, this time we decided to support the women from the Coassan cooperative, whom Chepe, our colleague from Nicaragua, speaks highly of as being very motivated to improve quality and success. At mamacoffee, we want to give them an opportunity, and we hope you'll enjoy this unique coffee.
