About the Tea
More than half of India's annual tea production comes from the northeastern state of Assam. The tea plantations here are among the largest in the world. The tea bushes cover both banks of the Brahmaputra River. However, growers in the long river valley slopes must contend with very high and uneven rainfall. Especially during the monsoon season, rainfall can reach up to 300 mm per day. Although the region does not have high elevations, its unique climatic conditions give rise to very fine teas, harvested from July to September.
Home Preparation
Pour 250 ml of boiling water over one teaspoon of Assam black tea (approximately 3 g) and let it steep for 1.5 minutes.
Additional Information
The weight of the tea package is 70 g.
The product complies with the rules of organic production, certified by the control organization ABCERT AG, CZ-BIO-002.
