About the coffee

This specialty Arabica from the Nyamasheke region of Rwanda (Nyabumera washing station) stands out with a full-bodied and sweet flavour profile that shines both in filter coffee and espresso. Thanks to its natural processing, it offers a richer and rounder character.

The flavour is dominated by notes of caramel, nougat, and ripe cherries, complemented by a chocolatey aftertaste. The aroma is sweet and warming, while the fruity, gently sweet acidity keeps the coffee well balanced. Its full and round body gives the cup a pleasant depth.

The coffee comes from the Nyabumera station in the Nyamasheke region, where it is grown at an altitude of around 1,800 m a.s.l. from the Red Bourbon variety and processed using the natural method. The station works with more than 1,200 smallholder farmers and is undergoing gradual renewal with a strong focus on quality and sustainability.
