A stovetop espresso maker designed for brewing strong coffee at home. The aluminum moka pot is already a classic. The moka pot was invented by an Italian engineer in 1933.
Aluminum is generally considered unsuitable for kitchen use, but that's not the case here. Over time, the inner wall of the aluminum container develops a patina from use, and the aluminum absorbs the coffee flavor. Therefore, it's not recommended to wash the moka pot with chemical agents. The pot is not suitable for induction cooktops.
