Recommended preparation

This coffee is ideal for alternative brewing methods, such as AeroPress or V60.

About the coffee

Coffee from the Ethiopian Guji region (Shakiso, Tero Kebele) stands out for its clean and fresh flavour profile, typical of washed coffees from high-altitude regions. It is especially well suited for alternative brewing methods, where it fully develops its delicacy and complexity.

The flavour is dominated by notes of apricot, caramel, and subtle bergamot, complemented by a light tea-like aftertaste. The aroma is sweet and floral-fruity, while the lively fruity acidity adds juiciness and elegance to the cup. Its light body highlights its clarity and easy drinkability.

The coffee comes from smallholder farmers in the Tero Kebele area of the Guji region, where it is grown at an altitude of 1,950–2,150 m a.s.l. from indigenous Ethiopian varieties and processed using the washed method.
