About the coffee

One of the world’s most sought-after coffees, ideal for alternative home brewing. This Arabica reveals vibrant notes of raspberry, blackberry, and bergamot, with a sweet and fruity aroma and lively acidity.

The coffee comes from the renowned Koke region in southern Ethiopia, which the founders of mamacoffee, Marta and Daniel Kolský, first visited on their honeymoon in 2007. They met local smallholder farmers, explored their coffee gardens, and joined in the harvest. Since then, we’ve returned many times and helped support the construction of a local school, built with the help of People in Need and Czech Scouts (Junák). We fell in love with this region – and we hope you will too, through every sip.
